Things have been going pretty rough for the St. Louis Blues lately. Losers of nine of their last 11 games, it didn't take long into their game with the Calgary Flames on Thursday night for the misery to continue.
Early in the first period, defenseman Erik Johnson tried to clear a rebound in front of the St. Louis net and unfortunately, his clearing attempt backfired:
For the Flames, it was a nice bit of good fortune after a Dustin Penner goal beat Miikka Kiprusoff after going off of then-defenseman Ian White's face back in October.
Not something Johnson wanted to add to his young NHL resume, but eventually it'll be something he and his Blues teammates can have a laugh over.
