Tough decisions loom for the Vancouver Canucks as the NHL trading deadline and playoffs slowly draw closer. For one of the few times this season, the Canucks are dealing with significant adversity in the form of injuries to defensemen Andrew Alberts, Aaron Rome and center Alex Bolduc.
Alberts sat out Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss in Colorado after he became the latest casualty in Sunday's 4-0 loss in Minnesota, leaving with a shoulder injury caused by a late hit by Brad Staubitz. Rome suffered a sprained knee Friday in Washington while Bolduc re-injured a wonky shoulder in the same game.
