Video: Andrei Kirilenko breaks his nose and suffers concussion in scary fall

If the jury is still out on the knee injury J.R. Smith suffered while playing in China over the weekend, we can be sure about what happened to former Utah Jazz All-Star Andrei Kirilenko after he crashed to the floor in a scary incident while working for CSKA Moscow.

AK, who had been named his league's player of the week just a few days before the incident, was sent spiraling to the floor in a fall so nasty we're going to put the video after the jump. Certainly safe for work, but something you might want to choose to click on, rather than having it jump into action straightaway.

According to Vladimir Spivak of Sports.ru/basketball, Kirilenko has a concussion, a broken nose, and will miss at least two or three games. Because there are fewer games per week overseas, this could mean a sit on the shelf of up to two weeks. Just in case you're working on that Russian league fantasy hoops roster of yours.

(Thanks to Ben Golliver of Eye On Basketball for alerting us to Spivak's Twitter account, and Kirilenko's weekly MVP award.)
