Maclin snipes at reporter, can?t figure out reason for turnovers

The Philadelphia Eagles have turned the ball over 12 times during their four-game losing streak, including eight in the last two weeks. One of those turnovers was Jeremy Maclin's late-game fumble against the San Francisco 49ers that halted Philly's comeback attempt.

Following Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills, a reporter asked the wideout why the team has been giving up the ball so often. Maclin didn't appreciate the question:

Other than the "get out of my face," Maclin's answer wasn't especially egregious. Sure, he could have answered more diplomatically, but I appreciate the way he has Andy Reid's back. The coach deserves blame for plenty of things, but Mike Vick twice throwing the ball directly to unseen defenders isn't one of them.

The bigger issue is with Maclin's assertion that he can't figure out why some Eagles players are fumbling. "There's no pinpoint reason why you're turning the ball over," he said.

Yeah, we can't think of any reason either.
