Fact: If all of baseball's offseason stories featured videos of Boston Red Sox relievers swimming with great white sharks, we probably wouldn't be counting down the days until pitchers and catchers so desperately. Here's a very cool clip of new Red Sox pitcher Mark Melancon taking his wife Mary Catherine diving with some sharks in New Zealand.
Another fact: I don't usually buy products just because an athlete says to, but Melancon's endorsement of�Dive Planet NZ might be the rare exception. After watching how close the sharks came to Melancon's cage, my bucket list has a brand-new item this morning.
