Credit Orlando Magic All-Star center Dwight Howard for understanding that children and fans from even outside the United States need to know that if they put their mind to it, they can achieve whatever they want.
And if they want to dunk on a giant giraffe toy with a basketball goal affixed to it, somewhere in downtown Tokyo, Japan? Well, far be it for Dwight to tell them that they cannot. Especially if it means they'll buy some shoes made by the brand whose logo is featured prominently on a massive billboard to the right of the basketball hoops.
Jerk jokes from my end aside, this is a pretty remarkable thing. Assuming that the main hoop is pitched 10 feet in the air, then this giraffe's rim is a good 11 or possibly more feet off the ground. Pitched in the middle of the massive and impressive Roppongi Hills, and you have a pretty good time out for all involved.
More exotic animal dunking, please.
