Raiders' Michael Bush Picks Bad Time for DUI Charge

There's never a good time for an NFL player to be arrested, but Raiders running back Michael Bush's timing couldn't have been much worse.

Bush was arrested on Saturday morning at 4:30 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence. Bush, a former University of Louisville star, was in Clark County, Ind., at the time, just across the river from his hometown of Louisville.

The arrest is ill-timed as Bush, a fourth-year pro, is expected to be granted free agency whenever the NFL's owners and players reach a new collective bargaining agreement. Bush is coming off of a third consecutive solid season for the Raiders -- he rushed for a career-high 655 yards and eight touchdowns in 2010.
