Preston Knowles, Louisville's leading scorer and occasional miracle worker, will "probably" be out for Saturday's game against DePaul. It is not known if he will available to play next week against Notre Dame.Card Chronicle reports that Rick Pitino announced the injury on his radio show Wednesday night.
Louisville has been riddled with injuries all season, with Rakeem Buckles and Jared Swopshire benched for most of the season. Mike Marra, Kyle Kuric, Terrence Jennings, Gorgui Dieng, and Elisha Justice have also been sidelined for the Cards at some point this season.
Knowles is averaging almost 15 points for Louisville, and he's provided some impressive long range shooting at times. It was Knowles who led the improbable comeback win over Marquette last month.
