The Lions destroyed Tim Tebow and the Broncos on Sunday. It was so bad that this end zone-to-end zone interception return by Chris Houston was a cherry on the top of Tebow's awful-game sundae, not the entire sundae by itself.
That came in the fourth quarter and made the score 45-3. The Broncos managed a garbage time touchdown to make the final score 45-10, but that does not lessen just how bad Tebow played.

Going 18-39, he completed less than half of his passes. He was sacked seven times, and lost 55 yards in the process. His fumble on one of those sacks was returned for a touchdown, meaning the Lions scored more off of Tebow's turnovers than the Broncos scored the entire game.
The Denver Post summed it up:
Those five minutes of wonder against Miami now look like an aberration. Right here, right now, Tebow is the worst quarterback in the NFL. [...]
Offensive coordinator Mike McCoy might not use all 64 crayons in the box, but any way you color it, Denver can't win if Tebow fails to demonstrate passing skills that merit an opponent's respect.
Unless the Broncos can land Stanford's Andrew Luck or Southern Cal's Matt Barkley in the 2012 draft, Tebow is a quarterback who could get coach John Fox fired in Denver.
With that performance, the quarterback controversy in Denver will simmer on. There is no way to know if Kyle Orton or even Brady Quinn would have done better against the Lions, but it would have been difficult for either of them to do much worse.
